Exceptional Art & Design brings you to the vibrant scene of Bermondsey. Two dates to choose from: Thursday 21 or Friday 22 March. From visiting one of Europe’s foremost glass art galleries and one of the longest running hot glass studios – a great extension from our recent visit to the craft and design fair – to visiting contemporary art, Bermondsey has much to offer to us. Among several other galleries, we will visit the striking modernist building of the White Cube – with its two current exhibitions, one showing a frieze of oil paintings by Sergej Jensen, another showing two bodies of work (sculpture and performative) by McClodden who finds inspiration in literature. We shall end at the Borough market where I have selected a few culinary highlights, just in time for lunch!
