Mighty Beauty, Mighty Beast, by Anna Pogudz

I am very happy to post here the annoucement of a show I am co-curating with Paul Carey-Kent. Millenial Polish artist Anna Pogudz is presenting in her first solo show a combination of paintings, installation and animation in this quirky half-serious critic of consumerism and social media, half-poking fun exhibition, the result of two years of painting and creating, between London and South of France, Monaco.

Anna Pogudz, All I want is somebody to ask what happened, 2020

This show was first planned to take place in spring 2020 at Arthouse1, Bermondsey where Rebecca Fairman had ran the space for several years and offered a vibrant platform for emerging artists to get discovered. She sadly died just a few weeks before the date. Covid19 then gave the final knock to the project. The exhibtiion was then rescheduled for the autumn, and cancelled again with the abrupt arrival of the second UK lockdown. The show finally opened on the 8th December 2020 at Bermondsey Project Space and closed just before Christmas due to the second lockdown. https://project-space.london
